Tips for your first 5k

Your first mile should be your slowest!

Settle into your pace in the first mile.

Breathwork is important!

Focus on your breathing! Inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Pay attention to your form!

Loosen your grip and relax your hands! 

Keep you eye on another runner for motivation!


Take walking breaks as needed.


Have Fun!


Being nervous is normal!

Remind yourself that you will finish!

If possible, carry something meaningful with you!
